Danke schön. Bitte schön.
So I didn’t have time to post about yesterday, so I will now!

We started at 9am with a session with Andrea and she taught us different German etiquette. We practiced ordering food at a café and finding stuff at a market. Then some of us went to this AMAZING café called “Chocolaterie Yittiy”. I never knew there were such intricate ways of having hot chocolate! It was so great. I got a hazelnut flavored one. : ) Afterwards, we biked to the Freie Musikschule, where we have classes and practice rooms. Then we had lunch at the Lituratur Café, which was also great. Then we biked to a market and bought some things and then rode back to the Pension. We all sort of left at different times and some people biked faster than others, and me, Allison, and Jason got lost! Hahaha it was so fun. We found our way around pretty quickly though! Then me and Allison tried doing our Theology homework in our rooms, but then we decided to go out to a café and do it! :D We invited the guys upstairs and a lot of them came along. It was a good way to practice my German! I finished my homework and then we walked back and met up with the rest of the group and our RA showed us where to do our laundry lol. Then we had dinner at Gino’s! Yummy Italian pizzas. Then we all walked down the Hauptstraße and did some shopping! Then we walked back when stores closed and hung out with some of the guys in the common room. Then went to bed eventually, to rest up for our biking journey to our conducting class the next day!

Todayyy… we had a successful trip to class. We didn’t get lost : ) Then Allison came with me to die Mensa for breakfast, then I had to rush to my German class and I was like 2 minutes late =\ Darn punctual Germans make me look bad. Oh well lol, our 2-person German class was fine. Then when everyone was done with classes, we went to die Mensa for lunch! Then we walked to the bus stop and met up with Tim where we took the shuttle up to the Heidelberg castle! It was really great. Everything was covered in snow and it was just beautiful. It was beyond words, knowing the fact that we were on such historic grounds. The castle reminded me of Hogwarts so much!! We spent a good amount of time at the castle with a guided tour and taking pictures. Then we got back to the Pension and got ready for our first concert tonight! We got all dressed up and had dinner at Marstall, then walked to Stadthalle to see the HD Philharmonic. The program was phenomenal. I literally got goosebumps within the first 2 seconds that they played. After the concert, we walked back and hung out with some of the guys again before they went to bed. Gotta rest up for tomorrow!
