Final Round
Our director came to our movie night last Friday and announced that this will be the final Azusa Heidelberg Semester. APU decided to cut this program because they needed to save money…
It stuns me to think that I just made it in time in this program! I always planned it to be my spring junior year, but to imagine the number of my peers who were waiting for next semester to go boggles my mind! They won’t get to be in this AMAZING program. There is no price that can be put on this experience, and I feel sooo blessed to be apart of this.
From now, more than ever, will I take advantage of every single day. Today, I had Conducting class, German class, practiced, had a violin lesson (for 2 hrs), hung out with my teacher and his doggie, went to a café and did homework, finished a paper, ate at die Mensa, got gelato, biked to choir rehearsal, sang Händel’s Messiah in German, had a great time biking back, and I’m getting ready for a another fulfilling day tomorrow. Who knows what it will bring? So far I’ve got: practicing, classes, getting ahead in my theology class, and babysitting the Schwarz’ children at night time : )
Oh, and Justine is coming to visit me in exactly 2 weeks! And then that means… PARIS! <3
